Princess and the Pea - Chapter 3

GAH I was just brushing my teeth with the most disgusting flavour of toothpaste ever....it tasted just like that gum I chewed!  BAH.

Anyways, here's chapter three:

Chapter 3:
“What!?” The prince and Linda shouted, both shocked.
Queen Lily looked at them sceptically, and they both regained their composure. “So, Princess?” She asked, waiting for an answer.
“Uh…” Linda didn’t know what to say. “Uh…I should go ask my parents first.”
“Alright then. You can go right after your breakfast.”
Linda’s head was spinning. She never knew it would have been so easy. A smile played at the corner of her lips. Part one of the master plan…finished.
After breakfast, Queen Lily offered Linda a horse and carriage to take her back to her ‘home’, Robin Grove. Halfway through the ride, Linda suddenly felt a sharp flick on her cheek. She knew that was her signal.
“Stop the carriage!”
“But princess, we’re not there yet.” The horseman looked confused.
“Just stop the carriage.” The carriage stopped and Linda got off. She started heading towards the forest, which was on the right side of the road.
“Princess Lila, why are you going to the forest? It is dangerous there.”
Linda ignored him and continued on, trudging deeper and deeper into the dark woods. Soon, she saw who she was looking for. Helen Crosby, her mother and the most powerful Dark Witch of them all. “So what are the plans, mother?”
Helen tilted her head. “I’ve already thrown the real King and Queen of Robin Grove into the shed down at the Dark Witch Inventory Market. No one at that kingdom has noticed yet, but they will soon. When you get to Robin Grove, I’ll be there posing as your parents. You’ll recognize me, so don’t worry about that. Just make sure you get married to this Prince Samson, am I clear?”
“Yes, mother.”
“Oh, and tell that wretched horsemen that you went to collect some Raspberry flowers for your parents. Here.” Helen handed Linda some fresh raspberry flowers, with the thorns all cut off. “They always grow best in the forest.”
So Linda went to Robin Grove and talked to her ‘parents’ about the marriage proposal. The king and queen, actually Helen underneath, agreed of course.
Before anyone knew it, plans were made for the most lavish wedding anyone could imagine for Princess Samson and ‘Princess Lila’.
