Throughout the years, I've been hearing some very bizarre myths. Here are three of them:
Myth: If you like to wave your arms around in fast, jerky movements, you might receive temporary brain malfunctions.
Truth: Uh, no..? It depends on what kind of person you are, really. Some people tend to show that when they're hyper, they tend to act strangely. But, no, you won't receive malfunctions. But if you think it's cool to malfunction, go ahead and test your acting skills on your friends. They might actually believe it. ;)
Myth: If you swallow a watermelon seed, watermelons will grow in your stomach.
Truth: NO WAY. Your digestive system will take care of that for you. Don't worry about it at all. I bet a lot of you people can now go to sleep peacefully tonight, eh? ^_^
Myth: The world will end in 2012.
Truth: I don't think so. The world won't just suddenly crash on us. Maybe in another few thousand years....But not in 2012. The scientists won't let us down. (BTW, did any of you see the movie 2012? Lol, nice effects, but horrible, terrible logic.)
If you have any more interesting myths, send them to me. I'm always happy to prove others wrong.
-Vociferously yours, Vicky.
